A Deeper Dig at the Origins of the Haredi Health Commission and their Goals
Did you ever suddenly notice a conglomerate of health professionals or Rabbis suddenly issue a call about a health issue almost in unison? Is it because they really saw an acute need to address this particular issue, or was it an exercise in gaining control of the hearts and minds of the collective community?
We are about to find out.
The NYC Health Department maintains on their payroll an Orthodox Jewish Community Liaison as part of their health promotion unit that focuses primarily on “disease control”.
Although by definition, a “liaison” is someone who facilitates a mutual understanding, we will see in a later part of this expose, the purpose of this position served only to foster the will of the health department upon the people, not to listen to the concerns of the people.
What better way could there be to create social change, then by having the population think that it is coming from those that they love and trust as opposed to being dictated by outsiders.
In 2018 Alyssa Massor the Health Departments Liaison entered into a contract with Dr. Zackary Berger seeking to convene a group of Heimish health professionals to discuss and address what they see as “major health problems.” The group was focused on far more than bare-bones health. In the words of Dr. Berger, “When I say ‘health’ I mean the broadest perspective, including social determinants of Health.”
A perusal of the meeting notes illuminates the many agendas that the HHC sought to implement. These include rebranding the HPV vaccine so it can be more accepted within the community, weaponizing schools against vaccine hesitant parents, and campaigning for the removal of religious exemptions. At one meeting they even discussed “partner(ing) with CDC and target centers that promote "alternative" treatments to Lyme disease.” This is because “the participants underscored the connection between alternative methods to treating Lyme disease and anti-vaccination propaganda.”
Of the many initiatives to be taken on by this Commission, one recurring theme is manifest in these documents and is deeply troubling.
In the first meeting under the title “Community Influencers” it states: “Important to have rabbi buy-in and support- without it, cannot be effective.”
In follow up meetings they make their intent clearer yet.
“Rabbis play a vital role in who receives help, what type of health is given, what facilities will help you, if you get a surgery, and if members of the community will accept you. Only certain people are allowed to integrate into the community. Because of the importance of the Rabbi in receiving and maintaining treatment they need to be integrated into the Haredi Coalition in some way.”
At risk of being the arbitrator of the metric of religion, we’ll decline describing what we feel of Zackary’s (the founder of the HHC) religiosity. Suffice it to say however that he is self-described as “an interested, informed, though definitely an outside observer of Chasidic culture, mores, and society”. The appropriateness of leading a group attempting to change the social fabric of haredim while at the same time being “an outsider” is something that ought to give us a pause. Likewise, many other members of the commission skirt the outside perimeter of traditional Halacha and Hashkafa. Further yet, some simply loath their own heritage for what it is, and seek radical change through subtle steps.
Operating as a clandestine group, a group of “outside observers” seek to subterfuge the Hareidi community, and have it appear as if it was initiated, or at least is supported by rabbis. This is not just conjecture, Laura Kurcfeld disclosed it in full during one of the leaked HHC meetings!
Wow! Laura laid it bare! Who would have guessed that these videos of rabbis were literally scripted by outside sources?
By the time a rabbi is approached, he is not aware that he is part of a psyop that has been in the works for years. He is blissfully unaware that he is only presented with granular information designed to elicit a predictable response. Of course, any action at any point in time can possibly be justified, but one needs to weigh the totality of the direction and agendas constantly being foisted upon the community. One need not be a prophet to realize that something is amiss when every step is justified but somehow when put together, they all seem to alienate us from genuine Yiddishkeit, put more lives at risk, and only serve to promote the official narrative.

Isn't it delightful to be a member of what government has decreed to be a "targeted" group - targeted by them? There is indeed nothing new under the sun!
It's odd to me what so many people are so trusting of governments. I mean seriously, when has that ever come out well for anyone?
Handing over control and freedoms requires that you put your faith entirely in man. I would have assumed that any religious leaders would see right through the narrative. Where's the protect the flock mentality?
