An Open Letter to Doctors, Nurses, Hatzalah members and Bikur Cholims Worldwide:
“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It's not.”
This letter isn’t meant to please. It’s a harsh condemnation of your complacence and indeed your collusion, which allowed fellow humans to suffer and die in horrible ways. I’ll be skipping the niceties because we need to cut directly to the crux of the issue and leave the ego aside. The issue at hand is far too egregious for me to give any credence to your host of lamentable excuses.
As Jews, we celebrate the life of Chiune Sugihara, the Japanese diplomat who is credited with saving the lives of thousands of Jews during WWII. Even after he was recalled from Lithuania, he still signed visas while the train was departing. Secretly we wonder though, why weren’t there more similarly inclined Gentiles? Why were many Jews reported to the German authorities by their own childhood friends and employees? Certainly, we imagine, that had we been in the position to save lives, we would have given it our all! Maybe we wouldn’t have gone so far as to risk our lives for another, but for Sugihara, it wasn’t even asking him that much. It’s true! It meant being recalled back to Tokyo, losing his job and suffering ridicule for the rest of his life. But he saved thousands of lives! Why wouldn’t he do it? Wouldn’t we do the same? Do we do the same now?
As Jews, we struggle to understand how the Yevsektsiya not only denounced their own faith but fostered their godlessness upon their own people. They mercilessly hunted down any Jew that wouldn’t wholeheartedly embrace the promise of a Communist paradise. A country that had previously hosted two million mostly practicing Jews was not left with a single family intact in their Judaism. Executions and lengthy exiles were its modus operandi as it operated as an arm of the Communist Party. Eventually, Stalin decided that they themselves weren’t ‘woke’ enough and had the majority of the Yevsektsiya members themselves executed and exiled in the late 1930’s.
Certainly, we imagine that if we would have lived in the Soviet Union at that time we would have acted differently. We recognize that maybe we wouldn’t have had the fortitude to withstand the daily tests like R’ Aaron Chazan, R’ Yitzchok Zilber, or R’ Avraham Netzach did. But would we fall so low to actively seek that saintly men like these be obliterated forever? By tearing apart families of those who dared be caught doing mitzvos? Why would the Yevsektsiya do it? We definitely wouldn’t do the same.
Or would we?
Let us not delude ourselves. We do this every day.
Not a day goes by where I don’t hear frightening stories of people hurt, maimed and killed by the medical profession. I’ve heard countless stories from victims about the massive influx of acute sequelae that they attribute directly to the Covid vaccine. I have heard troubling stories from cardiologists about a deluge of heart conditions, abnormal clots, and rare strokes that only affect the vaccinated. OB/GYN’s relate a plethora of women’s issues that profoundly affect their fertility and inability to live a Jewish married life. Oncologists report that cancers in vaccinated individuals have skyrocketed. Cancers have increased both in virulence and in the amount of people affected.
But these reports by doctors have only been related on second hand (by non-medical staff in the office or relatives of the doctors), but almost never by the doctors themselves. Why? Because they are worried that if they speak up, they will jeopardize their career. They put their profession before people’s lives. “First worry about your money, then worry about harm,” seems to be the new Hippocratic oath. Do they really think that they would do what Chiune Sugihara did? True! The simple act of warning people may cost them money but allowing others to die has no price tag. Compounded with this is that it isn’t just one individual’s life at stake. It’s the health of the entire public and their ability to operate as free people.
How often are medical services provided to a patient that we know will harm the patient? How often does Hatzalah bring patients to subpar hospitals because of inside deals and relationships? (Answer: Every Day). Why does Bikur Cholim and hospital liaisons advocate the interests of the hospital over the interest of their fellow Jew? How often are doctors administering these vaccines knowing full well the damage it can cause but withholding this lifesaving information from their patient?
They have not acted differently than the Yevsektsiya. They have traded their morals in a feeble attempt to garner imagined comradeship with entities that mock them. History has not looked kindly upon those that attempted to ‘appease’ at the expense of their brethren. They have been acting in tandem with their controllers in the Government and industry, thinking that this will solidify their relationship with them. They justify their actions by stating that they are doing it “so that they can help others”, to maintain their standing, or ‘due to the nature of the emergency, there was no other choice’. Much like the ‘woke’ Yevsektsiya was ‘cancelled’ in the Great Purge, these useful idiots stand to suffer the same fate.
Unless they choose not to.
Unless.
